Our 2016 Parade Home in Johnson City, Texas

This modern ranch home located in Johnson City, featured in the Hill Country Builders Association 2016 Parade Home Tour, has an open floor plan, vaulted living area with Douglas Fir beams, and spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country.

The home is perched on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Pedernales River. This home actually was a personal favorite of ours at Cactus to build. It was designed and constructed to give its owners all of the best views possible wherever they looked. The bedroom, living room, and two patios were positioned just right to give homeowners close to a 180-degree view of the river. It also provides year-round beauty for its owners and guests.

Highlights include a one-of-a-kind 8-foot custom-made ceiling fan from an authentic windmill, panoramic 12-foot sliding wall, solid steel exterior deck structures, vaulted living area, spacious living area floors, a loft overlooking the living area, a detached and oversized custom three-car garage and shop, remote access home automation and security, and a de-humidifying system located in the basement area.
